Phase # 5: Plugins!

PLUGINS
Check out the video first! (but you already know that already)

GDI offers some pretty cool plugins for you to use to promote your site and the GDI program. Below are the plugins offered. Remember unless you are familiar with these plugins, be sure to research them if they are of interest to you. But be sure to check them out.

Wordpress is the most commonly and powerful blog builder on the web. You will be able to instantly create your GDI blog. You will also be able to design your blog to your style and preference.

(I actually have a Wordpress site for artists who are interested in joining GDI. You can check it out here, it will give you an idea how you would want to design your own online business with GDI.)

Drupal is an open source content management platform powering millions of websites and applications. It’s built, used, and supported by an active and diverse community of people around the world. You will be able to create special member areas for your GDI team members and down line.

(I have not used Drupal with my GDI but I have used it in the past. You will be able to view tutorials at the Drupal website.)

PHPbb is a free plugin in which you will be able to create a forum and that which you can integrate with your new GDI website.

Coppermine is a unique online community gallery forum. You can use it to create a unique place for members to post and host their own galleries.
(I used Coppermine to help create a community for artists to submit their artwork. It was also a great way to get leads)

As you see you have a variety of tools you can use to help build your GDI campaign and create an informative and dynamically engaging website. On to Phase #6
